Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 10, 2026
North IPTV is designed so that your data stays yours. This policy explains what the app stores, where it goes, and what we can see — which is, in short, nothing.
What the app stores
- Playlist sources — the M3U URLs or Xtream Codes server details (including usernames and passwords) you add.
- Your library data — favorites, bouquets, watch progress, recent channels, channel numbers, filters and the parental-control code (stored only as a cryptographic hash).
- Cached content listings — channel, movie and show catalogs downloaded from your provider, kept on device to speed up the app.
- Downloads and recordings — media files you download or record are stored on your device only.
Where it goes
All data is stored locally on your device. If you subscribe to North IPTV Premium and enable iCloud, your playlist sources, favorites, bouquets and watch progress are synced through your private iCloud database, which is end-to-end tied to your Apple Account. Apple hosts that data; we cannot read it, access it or share it — it never touches a server we operate.
What we collect
Nothing. North IPTV has:
- No analytics or tracking of any kind
- No advertising and no ad identifiers
- No account, registration or login with us
- No server of ours that receives your data
Network connections the app makes
- Your IPTV provider — to fetch playlists, program guides, artwork and streams from the URLs you added. Your provider can see these requests, as with any player. Their privacy practices are their own.
- Apple iCloud — only if you enable Premium sync, as described above.
- Apple App Store — to process subscriptions. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never see your payment details.
Children
North IPTV does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. The parental-control feature stores its code only as a hash on your device and in your private iCloud data.
Data deletion
Deleting a playlist removes its favorites and watch progress from your devices. Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove synced data from iCloud, delete your playlists in the app before uninstalling, or manage app data in iOS Settings → Apple Account → iCloud.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
